Episódio 09 – Katie & Emily

Katie não quer sair de casa. Por sorte, Emily pode se disfarçar como a irmã, e fazer uma prova por ela. Emily e Naomi se aproximam, exatamente como Emily quis por tanto tempo; mas quando Emily pede a Naomi para acompanhá-la ao baile do colégio, ela diz não, partindo o frágil coração de Emily. Contra seu melhor juízo, e sob pressão, Emily concorda em ser parceira de Katie no baile, no lugar, e elas planejam suas roupas juntas. Quando estão fazendo compras, no entanto, elas encontram Freddie e JJ, e Katie convence Freddie a levá-la ao baile, no lugar. Katie vê uma forma de recuperar seu status de difícil no colégio. Freddie, sem querer, solta uma bomba sobre Emily e JJ, e Katie faz um plano, fazendo de sua irmã a vítima final. O plano de Katie resulta em uma grande revelação de fatos. Mas é ela quem tem que encarar seus medos e aceitar algumas difíceis verdades, principalmente que ela não está mais no controle.

Episode 9 Synopsis
Brand New Series: Katie (Megan Prescott) won’t leave the house. Fortunately, Emily (Kathryn Prescott) is able to disguise herself as her sister, and sits an exam on her behalf. Emily and Naomi (Lily Loveless) get closer, just as Emily has wanted for a long time; but when Emily asks Naomi to accompany her to the college ball, she says no, breaking Emily’s fragile heart. Against her better judgement, and under duress, Emily agrees to partner Katie to the ball instead, and they plan their outfits together. Out shopping, though, they bump into Freddie (Luke Pasqualino) and JJ (Ollie Barbieri), and Katie convinces Freddie to take her to the ball instead. Katie sees a way of regaining her hard-sought status at college. Freddie inadvertently drops a bombshell about Emily and JJ, and Katie hatches a plan, making her sister the ultimate victim. Katie’s scheming results in the mother of all showdowns. But she’s the one who has to face her fears and accept some hard truths, principally that she’s not in control any more.
